Home appliances are and remain an area in which Universal, through the benefit of vast experience, is able to express its passion for perfection. Consumer Electronics
     Consumer electronics represent the face of the future. At Universal we have been working hard to create a strong and sustainable presence in this field. In a short space of time we have succeeded in perfecting the manufacture and assembly of our own range of Personal Computers and Notebook Computers. These efforts are key to the realization of one of our strategic objectives and have witnessed the expansion of our business activities with the creation of a “Tailored Electronics” division.
We are now able to offer Personal Computer systems for both homes and offices plus a wide selection of Notebook computers sporting 10, 12, 15 and 17 inch screens. All of these computers may be configured according to the customers’ wishes. We have further expanded our selection of consumer electronic with a range of Plasma, and LCD television screens and displays.

Distribution
Our aim is to distribute the very best available in the world of consumer electronics and home appliances. Universal has its own agent through which it distributes both Universal and other products. Our ever-increasing distribution expertise during the last 15 years has earned us a reputation for excellence of which we are justifiably proud. These achievements have in turn been recognized by some of the finest household names in the consumer electronics and home appliance industry.
Universal is constantly seeking to expand the scope of its distribution network to Universal and other showrooms through the acquisition and accreditation of licenses to distribute foreign IT, electronics and home appliances.

Exports
Naturally, Universal is certified to ISO standards, thus ensuring that our high-standards are valued in a manner that is easily understood in an international context. Our progressive outlook and desire to keep pace with change coupled with increasing need to respond to customer demand has witnessed the implementation of BAAN Business Management and Enterprise Resource Planning software. This provides fully-integrated interdepartmental systems that increase efficiency and performance, providing continually updated reports and ensuring the minimizing of delays.

Raw-material and Re-shaping industry
We originally became involved in the raw-material and re-shaping industry in order to promote our objective of self-sufficiency. Such was our success that we are now major suppliers of raw materials and pre-fabricated components to many key Egyptian and foreign industries, although the emphasis of this operation remains one of self sufficiency. The raw materials in which we specialize include; Carton, Copper, Aluminum, Plastic, Bakelite and Stainless Steel which we cut and shape according to both our industry’s specific needs while observing the highest standards of quality control.
